May 1, 2004

Ed Martin for Prophecy21.com: How's the tour been going so far?
Keith Buckley Vocals for Every Time I Die: Well it's over now, today is thelast day. It was great though. We were with As I Lay Dying for five weeks, then Throwdown for a week and now this. It's been great the show's wereawesome.

P21: What do you like about playing a show like this as opposed to playinga small club show?
KB: Nothing, this is a fucking circus.

P21: What do you prefer about playing the smaller shows?
KB: I just like the intimacy of it. Don't get me wrong I like this becauseI get to see friends I haven't seen in a very long time and that's alwaysgood.

P21: What bands are you most looking forward to seeing today?
KB: Killswitch, definitely Killswitch tonight.

P21: What's your favorite part of being on tour?
KB: Going home.

P21: What do you guys usually do to kill time when your on the road?
KB: I dunno dick and fart jokes usually make the time go by a littlequicker.

P21: What were your musical influences growing up?
KB: When I was little little like with my parents still little, like eightor so, it was the Beatles, James Taylor, The Eurythmics, Simon andGarfunkle. This makes my parents sound like hippies, they're not hippies, but shit saying that they sound like hippies.

P21: Were you playing any instruments then?
KB: No, well I played the violin for a while in elementary school and thecello.

P21: How did you guys come up with the layout for the new album?
KB: We just left it all up to Jake Banner. He just came out with a friendof ours from Toronto and was taken pictures of us hanging out at bars. Wejust left it all up to him.

P21: How did you guys get hooked up with Ferret Records?
KB: We played with Nora one time in New Jersey at the Melody Bar and Carlstarted to show a little interest in us. It was very gradual.

P21: How did the changes in sound between the first and second albums comeabout?
KB: I think we just got a lot more comfortable with what we were capable ofand what we were looking to do and were influenced by. We were really sortof not ready to admit a lot of the bands we listened to on the first album, but on this album it definitely comes out that were into classic rock.

P21: Are you looking forward to playing Ozzfest?
KB: Yeah definitely.

P21: What's your favorite song on the new album?
KB: I think She's My Rushmore is lyrically one of my favorite songs. Asfar as fun to play live it's I've Been Gone A Long Time.

P21: If you guys were gonna do a cover what song would you want it to be?
KB: I'd like to do a Jeff Buckley song so hopefully I'll be able toconvince my band to do that as like a B-Side.

P21: What band are you most looking forward to seeing on Ozzfest?
KB: Superjoint Ritual definitely. I mean seeing Ozzy is gonna be fuckingamazing, but I'm heavily into Superjoint Ritual.

P21: Are you a big fan of Phil's work in general or just Superjoint?
KB: Phil's amazing and just like Hank Williams lineage.

P21: What bands that you haven't toured with yet would you really like to?
KB: The Used, I've actually been wanting to tour with them for a while, they're really cool guys. Glassjaw we've been trying to tour with forever, but I dunno what the deal is now that Daryl's got the other band.

P21: What's been one of your most memorable shows you've played so far?
KB: On this tour probably Dallas, because we played two shows in one nightbecause it sold out so quickly.

P21: What about overall?
KB: Overall it was probably Hellfest last year. I just remember that beingthe most people we've ever played too.

P21: Thanks, is there anything that you want to add?
KB: Nope, if anyone wants to know more come to our website.
